I promised Vicki & Graeham to get a few images up on the blog before they fly out for their honeymoon this afternoon – so here they are guys! After 12 hours with you, a great venue & amazing weather, we have a fair few photographs to develop!!! Zoe & Jon had the hottest day of the year thus far a few weeks back for their wedding at the The Black Barn, near Reading in Berkshire. You can tell from the photograph of the church & the barn (see below) what an amazingly beautiful day it was.
Well, they are fresh back from honeymoon, tan-fantastic!
We love sharing in peoples big day when we are their wedding photographers, but what many people forget is all the hardwork that goes on after the wedding day: backing up, sorting images, developing images from their RAW files & then finally designing an album. But it 150% worth it when you see a bride & grooms reaction to seeing their day unfold again. We are glad to say that Jon & Zoe loved their album & photographs & so we can now share all their photographs with their guests in our online gallery area here

We were Kayleigh & Carl’s wedding photographers on Saturday – they married at St Mary’s church in Thatcham & then had their wedding reception at Mill Hall in Newbury Berkshire. Here are a few from their wedding day to view whilst they are on honeymoon! Have a fabulous time & look forwards to seeing you in a few weeks.
Lindsay, Carl & I spent a nice hour or so exploring the country side around Lambourn finding some shade from the amazingly hot sunshine on Sunday. We had a chat about what they wanted from their wedding photograpy at their wedding later in the year at The Clock Barn, Tufton Warren, Hampshire – which if you read our blog regularly, you will know that Jane & I got married there. So it is always special to be going back to this venue. Lindsay mentioned that she likes some of the vintage style photographs that she has seen – so although not our usual style, we had a little go at this & think it’s worked pretty well:
We met Gina & Martin at a wedding fair at Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire just before our son was born, some 14 months ago! Well, we have meet up twice in between for a pre-wedding shoot & then to wander around the venue, the beautiful Eveltham Hotel, for last minute organisation. Yesterday saw the result of all that planning – and what a day. Gina looked amazing, Martin scrubbed up well, the venue & weather were fantastic & now they head off on an amazing honeymoon. Really looking forwards to seeing you both when you get back, but as promised here are a couple of photographs for you to see the morning after your big day….
