We had the pleasure of being wedding photographers for Sarah & Andrew today, firstly at the very grand St Johns church in Newbury & then on to the reception at Newbury Manor Hotel also in Newbury, Berkshire.
We had to work around the weather a little bit today – a few showers had the guests & us running for cover on a couple of occassions when the heavens opened!
But we got more than enough time outside to get some lovely images – enjoy this little selection:
We have the priviledge of being wedding photographers at Combe Manor near Hungerford in Berkshire three times this year.
This is our first – for Sarah & Gareth – a great couple whose family & friends share their sense of fun! Thanks for a great day all.
They got married at St Lawrence’s church in Hungerford first, before holding their reception at Combe Manor.
When you think of registry offices, you certainly do not think of grand Tudor Mansions – but that is exactly what Shaw House in Newbury is & part of it is used as West Berkshire’s registry office.
Clare & Gareth were married at the registry office before being whisked off to their English Tea Party reception!
A really fabulous idea for a wedding reception & everyone entered into the spirit of the day.
Wow – what a day! The weather was so kind to us in the end, despite a slightly dodgy week in the run up to the wedding on Saturday! We had a great day with Esther and David – the wedding service itself took place at the beautiful St Marys Church in Shinfield (near Reading in Berkshire) with the reception at The Manor House at Wokefield Park (a DeVere venue) – again just outside Reading in the small village of Mortimer. It was a fantastic day – there were even a few moans that it was too hot and sunny at one point!!! But this fitted perfectly with the steel band they had chosen to entertain guests whilst drinks were had on the terrace. The day ended with some stunning fireworks over The Mansion House – a long day for us (13 hours at the venues!) but worth it for the photograph at the end & to get a complete story of their wedding day.
