Jane & I are delighted to share with you the arrival of Daisy into this world. Many of you have known Jane & I from before we had any children and, quite scarily at this moment (day 5!), have seen our family grow to include both Oscar & Daisy. Both Mummy & baby are doing really well. Oscar, as you can see, is a rather proud older brother!

Well, we’ve done it. Three days of packing, followed by 1 day of moving, followed by 3 days of unpacking sees us almost functional in our new home & office!

Wedding photography at Wasing Park near Reading Berkshire

We had the pleasure of being Zoe & Daryl’s wedding photographers at Wasing Park in Berkshire yesterday. We met them both a while ago now when we had a great time taking some portraits of the two of them – so we were really chuffed when they asked us to photograph their wedding too. Here are a few photographs as a taster – enjoy! Looking forwards to seeing you in a couple of weeks to show you them all & your album design!

You can’t guarantee its appearance in the UK, & if you do get it, it doesn’t stay around for long, but winter sun can be just stunning as these next two photographs show:

Always like to get the best man to prove he has the rings with him!

In December, we lose the light fairly early – between 3 & 4pm. This was taken later still, around 5.30pm when it was completely dark. A long exposure gave us the beautiful blue sky:

Given it was a December wedding, we had to get one with a Christmas tree in…..!

It’s a dark, damp & cold autumnal day here. But we have just received this email from someone who lives locally to us but that we have not met. It brought a big proud grin to our faces & certainly lifted our day!

Racahel & Ricky are back from their honeymoon & very excited to see their wedding photographs after seeing the teaser images we posted on the blog (we always get agreement to do this & text our couples to let them know they are on the blog!).

Wedding photography at Wasing Park, Aldermaston, Berkshire

Saturday saw the wedding of Rachael & Ricky at the fabulous Wasing Park. This wedding venue is a photographers dream – so many options all within walking distance from the church, civil ceremony barn & main reception barn. The rain held off until very late in the evening – it threw it down just 10 minutes after we had taken the last night-time shot you can see below. Combine all this with the Autumn colours & the fact Rachael & Ricky had planned an hour & a half for photography into their day’s schedule & you can see why we shot a record number of photographs for us on a wedding day.

Have a lovely honeymoon both – looking forwards to seeing you in a few weeks. But be warned, your album design may be slightly large…….

Katie & Will visited us yesterday evening to view all their photographs & this morning we got this email which says it all!

‘We have already had lots of comments about the photographs and I’ve been online this morning again to look through them, I love them all! I don’t know how I’m going to manage to choose just a selection!!

Thank-you both for all your hard work so far, our photos are amazing and we are both so happy with them.’

Katherine & Thomas visited us this evening to view all their wedding photographs & pre-design of their album – and I am glad to say that all their guests may view their day here.

We had a great day at Sheepdrove Eco Conference Centre & Farm, litteraly 10 minutes from our studio, a fabulous venue in amazing grounds – and the weather behaved itself too!

Those were some serious heels Katherine….!

Berkshire Wedding photography – The Old Mill, Aldermaston

We spent a lovely evening with Tracey & Chris & yesterday, viewing all their wedding photographs & album pre-design – so we are glad to say that all their guests can now view these here

They had a great day despite the British weather trying to dampen spirits a little, as you can see from the photographs below: Chris taking over some poor guys fishing pitch with Tracey trying to pull him away, the whole group trying to out-run Tracey on the way back to the venue & a proper ice cream van turning up in the evening after the wedding breakfast!

Glad you loved your photographs – enjoy looking at them over & over.
